This vintage Smallwood Lake cabin has been lovingly owned by the same family for over 60
years. Upon entering you are immediately drawn in to the wide-open and expansive interior with
sweeping lake views. Built in the 1930's this grand lakefront abode would have been considered
a luxurious cottage back in the day. The over sized stone fireplace, primary bedroom with full
bath and three closets, stonework, multiple porches and storage space were not typically found
in the homes built in this hamlet at that time. Many of the classic features remain untouched and
there is original woodwork throughout the home, vaulted ceilings in the living room and a large
walk-up attic, which could be finished. Venturing down to the lakeside you will be amazed at the
exquisite stonework, reminding you that this is no ordinary place. Off the kitchen there is an
additional room with an abundance of windows taking in the views and natural light. Enclosed
front and rear porches, patios, dock on the lake, 2 sheds and a horseshoe drive are all a little
icing on top of this sweet place. Needs some TLC, the heating system has not been used for 30
years. Smallwood Civic Association offers beach, tennis, and playground for a nominal fee. Join
the Club at Smallwood for heated pool, clubhouse and daily/nightly activities. Minutes to hiking
trails, waterfalls, dog park, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, motor boat lakes, and lakeside
restaurants. Launch your kayak from the shore, Watch the Bald Eagles soar, Blue Herons fish,
