Va bene, quindi la prima cosa, esci dall'auto e questo stile di fattoria ha un portico anteriore che ha davvero spazio per un tavolino e una sedia per godermi il mio caffè del mattino in pace, cosa che desideravo tanto. La cucina ha il frigorifero incassato, un vero ripostiglio e mensole aperte che mi sono sempre piaciute. Il lavello della cucina è posizionato in modo da guardare indietro verso il giardino quando sono bloccato a lavare i piatti, che bello. Dicono anche che c'è spazio per una piscina. Poi la sala da pranzo ha questa grande porta scorrevole in vetro verso il giardino, così l'intera parte posteriore della casa è piena di luce, si può persino vedere la vista del giardino dal soggiorno. Al piano di sopra, il bagno privato è onestamente la mia sorpresa preferita, il pavimento è così interessante e l'intero spazio sembra calmo con le finiture che hanno scelto. Anche il bagno al piano inferiore ha questa bellissima carta da parati che rende questa nuova costruzione intenzionale, non un pensiero dell'ultimo momento.
Quello che amo è che questa posizione ti fa sentire come se avessi trovato un angolo segreto di Greenport. Sei letteralmente a ridosso della foresta di aceri, quindi è tranquillo e verde nel modo migliore. Il giardino è completamente recintato, quindi se la decisione è per la piscina, non sembra stretto. E poiché questa è una nuova costruzione, tutto sembra solido e affidabile.
La parte migliore è che la casa si trova anche a mezzo miglio dalla stazione del treno LIRR e dalla fermata della Hampton Jitney per arrivare a New York. Penso che questa possa essere quella giusta, devi venire a vederla.

Okay, so the first thing, you get out of the car and this farmhouse style has the front porch that actually has room for a side table and chair to have my morning coffee in peace that I have wanted so badly. Then inside, the half bath is right next to the front door, but it's tucked far enough away from the open living room and kitchen that it doesn't feel awkward when all of us are hanging out. The kitchen has the paneled fridge, a real panty closet and open shelves that I have always liked. The kitchen sink is setup where I am staring out to the backyard when I am stuck doing dishes, so good. They even say there is room for a pool. Then the dining room has this full glass slider to the yard, so the whole back of the house is just filled with light, you can even see the view of the yard from the living room. Upstairs, the ensuite bathroom is honestly my favorite surprise, the floor is so interesting, and the whole space feels calm with the finishes they picked. Even the downstairs bathroom has this beautiful wallpaper that makes this new construction feel intentional, not an afterthought.
What I love is this location makes you feel like you found a secret corner of Greenport. You're literally tucked up against the maple tree forest, so it's quiet and green in the best way. The backyard is fully fenced so if the decision is for the pool, it doesn't feel tight. And because this one is New Construction, everything just feels solid and reliable.
